This kit is an adjustable rocker arm system (non-roller)
for adjusting your valves. For street use only, no more than
.500" lift, no more than 320 lbs. open spring pressure, and no
machine work needed. Fits under stock valve covers. We make a
kit to fit the engine of your choice. This kit eliminates the costly
replacement of stock rocker arms and rocker pivots. Kit
includes: Stamped steel rocker arms 1.6:1 and rocker balls,
3/8" x 5/16" screw in studs, 5/16" guide plates, chrome
moly pushrods, 3/8" heat treated poly locks for positive
adjustment. |

All Steel Roller-Tip Adjustable Rocker Arm Systems (Cast Iron Applications)
| All-steel roller tip adjustable rocker arm system. Requires no machine work and will fit under most stock valve covers with oil baffles. Kit includes screw-in studs, 5/16" guide plates, 5/16" heavy-duty oil restricted chrome moly pushrods, 1.6:1 steel roller tip rocker arms, 3/8" rocker balls and poly lock adjusting nuts. Allows tappet adjustment for mechanical lifters and correct preload for hydraulic lifters. NOTE: Most valve jobs are done incorrectly so an adjustable valve train is essential for maximum performance. Maximum spring pressure is 330 lbs open & maximum lift is .550". (All 'A' heads must be drilled to 7/16" to accept our SAR rocker kits.) | ||

7200 Aluminum
Roller Rocker Kit This aluminum roller rocker set can be installed without machine work and can be used with any hydraulic, mechanical or roller camshaft up to 500 lbs of open spring pressure. These will fit under stock height (2.900") valve covers (no oil baffles) using our VC-499 (5/16") valve cover gaskets. Rockers have a true 1.6:1 ratio and are fully adjustable for setting proper valve lash and lifter preload. Kit includes shaft mounted roller rockers and all hardware. Note: Max lift .650". Recommended for all Mondello hydraulic & mechanical flat tappet cams and rollers up to MR-86-131. Must drill pushrod holes to 9/16" if using 3/8" pushrods. Recommended for use with our SK-695 valve spring kit. (These are available for cast iron cylinder heads only. Specify application data in the space provided.) |

Roller Rocker Kit This kit was specifically designed for the Mondello/Knowlton Cylinder Heads. These rockers are shaft mounted and are recommended for racing applications only. The width of the shaft can be adjusted between the rockers for optimum fit. 7/16 bolts included, no guide plates required. These rockers will only fit under 68300 Moroso Chrome Valve Covers or our Tall Aluminum Valve covers. |

| The following
rocker systems are for street and strip, requiring no machine work.
Rockers have a 1.6:1 ratio, using a 3/8" chrome moly rocker stud,
5/16" guide plate, chrome moly pushrods, and 3/8" poly locks for
positive adjustment. Valve covers without baffles and sometimes two
valve cover gaskets are needed to run these rocker arm kits. We
recommend a maximum lift of .540" and no more than 320 lbs. of open
spring pressure. The following pushrod lengths and stud sizes above are intended for cast iron heads. These kits can also be used on Edelbrock Aluminum Cylinder Heads (with some substitutions). Specify application when ordering. |
