VST-400 - Valve Seat O.D.-I.D. Scribing tool. Aluminum body has scribing bit adjustable to scribe the width of the valve seat in the head or to scribe the valve for precise undercutting. The tool comes with 3 guide sizes for valves 5/16", 11/32" & 3/8". Slide the tool over the valve stem then adjust the tool bit to the exact size you want your valve pocket to be. Remove the tool from the valve guide and slide the tool body over your valve grinding pilot and scribe the valve pocket. You can use bluing on the valve and also scribe the valve seat width, then you can undercut the valve on your valve grinding machine. Available in .385" and .437" pilot size for Sioux & Kwik Way Equipment. |
